Governor Rogelio Frigerio participated in Concordia in a conference organized together with the Federal Investment Council (CFI) to promote the productive and financial development of women from Entre Ríos. In that framework, financing certificates were delivered to productive projects in the province.
The activity, which took place this Tuesday at the headquarters of the Administrative Commission for the Salto Grande Special Fund (Cafesg), was also attended by the mayor of Concordia, Francisco Azcué; the Secretary General of the CFI, Ignacio Lamothe; and the Chief of the Cabinet of Advisors, Marcela Garavano.
During his speech, the governor highlighted the importance of supporting the initiative, which corresponds to a CFI program for women entrepreneurs that originated in Misiones, and "which today has Entre Ríos as a leading province," he stated, assuring that from the province "we are strongly committed to entrepreneurship."
In that sense, he recalled that the Entre Ríos government has had a link with the CFI since the first moment of the administration and "it has given us very good results," he maintained, specifying: "We are talking about nearly 50 billion pesos in financing for different projects, different aid lines that the CFI has, which we deeply appreciate because they have been very useful to us in these almost three years of administration."
Along those lines, Frigerio remarked that "the State also has a role in facilitating the idea of carrying out a dream and making it a reality, in this case with financing such as that of the Federal Investment Council, but also by generally improving the conditions of local and regional competitiveness," he indicated.
For his part, Mayor Azcué highlighted the importance of this initiative as part of public policies aimed at strengthening productive development and job creation. "It is a very important tool that, together with investment in infrastructure, deregulation, and the reduction of the tax burden, allows for the creation of conditions for investment, development, and job creation," he maintained. Likewise, he remarked that, through the Federal Investment Council, women entrepreneurs will be able to access training and loans to boost their projects.
On the occasion, financing certificates were symbolically delivered to women entrepreneurs from Entre Ríos who lead companies, who are undergoing training, and who accessed CFI financing.
The activity, which took place within the framework of the CFI's Program for the Productive and Financial Development of Women, also included the presentation of the program for women from Entre Ríos, led by CFI representatives, and talks on productive financing tools and financial sovereignty.
It should be noted that, through joint work with the CFI, Entre Ríos has registered more than 50 projects managed through the Program for the Productive and Financial Development of Women, for an amount exceeding 5 billion pesos. The initiative seeks to support the growth of ventures and companies led by women through financing and training tools.
