On Saturday, convened by the National Road Safety Agency, the simultaneous Federal Alcohol and Road Safety Control Operation was carried out in the main cities of the country. The Municipality's Traffic Center carried out operations in strategic locations of the city, with the aim of reinforcing awareness regarding compliance with traffic regulations.
"The Federal Operation was a coordinated action that was convened at a national level and Concordia was part of it," commented Walter Baez, director of the Traffic Center, regarding the matter. "On the initiative of the mayor Alfredo Francolini and the Chief of Cabinet Fernando Barboza, we have reinforced awareness actions and controls, and this opportunity was important because we also worked in a coordinated manner with security forces, and being a simultaneous national activity, it allows for assessments to be made and contributes to continuing to improve road safety," he explained.
From the province, the cities of Paraná and Gualeguaychú also participated in the Federal Operation. In Concordia, during the Operation, 24 reports for various infractions were issued, in addition to conducting breathalyzer tests.
