In the framework of the preparation of the 2026 Budget, the local Executive branch is working on the adjustment of different municipal areas and teams, especially those linked to urban works and services. These updates seek to support new management goals, guarantee the sustainability of ongoing policies, and provide greater efficiency to the administration.
During the last year, in a planned manner and addressing the challenges of the context, structural changes were implemented that allowed for the organization of public accounts, the optimization of resources, the improvement of management efficiency, and the launch of a sustained urban works plan.
In this way, the Municipality of Concordia advances in the consolidation of a management model based on efficiency, transparency, and the modernization of the State.
The 2026 Budget contains the following strategic axes:
- Promotion of urban works: priority investment in paving, street improvement, basic infrastructure, and public spaces, with a focus on territorial integration and the improvement of the quality of life of the residents.
- Efficiency in public management: simplification of procedures, digitalization of administrative processes, and optimization of resource use to provide more agile and effective responses.
- Transformation of the local State: updating of administrative structures and adoption of modern work methodologies that strengthen strategic planning and transparency.
- Modernization at the service of the community: incorporation of technological tools and digital platforms that facilitate the access of residents to municipal management.
In this sense, the Secretary of Cabinet Coordination and Treasury, Pablo Ferreyra, stated: “The 2026 Budget will constitute a fundamental tool to deepen the transformation process that we are carrying out in our city. A process that is reflected in the recovery of financial order, in the launch of important infrastructure works with our own resources, and in the consolidation of a more efficient, agile, and modern municipality.”
For his part, the Mayor Francisco Azcué stressed that these measures “deepen the direction of the administration, which is to have an increasingly efficient Municipality to optimize resources and channel them into infrastructure works and quality services for the residents. That is the path we have chosen and that we will maintain firmly.”
