This past Thursday, March 13, Concordia was present at the Tourism Commercialization Meeting (ECTU 2025), in which different destinations such as CABA, Salta, Puerto Iguazú, Neuquén, the province of Mendoza, and Salta participated, among others, as it is considered a key event for the promotion and commercialization of destinations.
Our city presented its varied tourist offer to operators and travel agents from all over the country, reaffirming its commitment to the development of tourism and its positioning in the national and international market.
The 49th edition of ECTU, which was held in Buenos Aires, organized by AVIABUE and LADEVI media, took place at the Marriott Hotel, where more than 120 exhibitors and 1200 professionals from the sector participated, including travel and tourism companies, wholesale tourism operators, airlines, and destinations, among others.
The Concordia stand reflected the diversity of its tourist offer, from rest and wellness in its thermal complexes to historical, cultural, adventure, wine tourism, fishing, and thematic circuit experiences that consolidate its identity as a comprehensive destination.
The presentation included traditional attractions and highlighted new proposals, such as religious tourism, the Art Nouveau circuit, the binational offer between Salto (R.O.U) and Concordia and the bimodal “Boat - Bus” service, meeting tourism, and prominent events such as the 7th International Meeting of Antique Cars, Classics and Stationary Engines, national and provincial festivals, etc.
In addition, emphasis was placed on the upcoming inauguration of the Concordia Airport, which generated great interest from tourism operators who plan to include the destination in their range of proposals, as this infrastructure will strengthen the city's connectivity and facilitate the arrival of national and international tourists to the Salto Grande Region.
In this framework, the Undersecretariat of Tourism of Concordia and EMCONTUR (Concordia Mixed Tourism Entity) held meetings with key players in the sector, including Nicolás Posse, Argentina Manager for the virtual agency CIVITATIS (a leading company in the online distribution of activities, excursions, and guided tours in Spanish, with a presence in more than 4,100 destinations). Likewise, meetings were held with Adrián Manzotti, president of AVIABUE, one of the event organizers, and with Valentín Díaz Guilligan, president of the Buenos Aires City Tourism Board and the Federal Tourism Council.
It should be noted that over the years, ECTU has become a fundamental space for the commercialization of tourism products, bringing together service providers, transport companies, hospitality, health, travel agencies, and complementary services such as car rental companies.
