The Municipality of Concordia, the Government of Salto, and the CTM Salto Grande Argentine Delegation are promoting a conference that will bring together entrepreneurs, service providers, and leaders from the productive sector to explore networking opportunities and the impact of artificial intelligence on business.
The Municipality of Concordia, together with the Government of Salto (Oriental Republic of Uruguay) and with the support of the Mixed Technical Commission of Salto Grande Argentine Delegation, will carry out “AI and Business: Binational Meeting,” an initiative aimed at strengthening business articulation and generating new opportunities for interregional productive development.
The meeting proposes to consolidate a space for connection between companies, service providers, and leaders from different economic sectors of both cities, with a strategic and long-term view on the challenges and opportunities posed by technological transformation.
In this sense, the mayor of Concordia, Francisco Azcué, highlighted the local government's commitment to promoting an innovation agenda and working together with the private sector: “We understand that the municipality must play an active role in promoting innovation, creating spaces for meeting and articulation so that the private sector can develop, incorporate new tools, and generate opportunities. Artificial intelligence and new technologies are transforming the economy and the world of work, and Concordia must be part of that process. We are working to promote an innovation agenda that links the State, companies, universities, and knowledge, because we are convinced that the development of our city is built with a State that facilitates, accompanies, and works together with the private sector.”
The day will combine keynote speeches, panels, networking spaces, and business rounds, promoting the exchange of experiences and the connection between companies looking for solutions and professionals and organizations that can offer them.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, LEADERSHIP, AND BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION
The event will feature the participation of leaders from international technology companies, such as Microsoft and Globant, who will address the impact of artificial intelligence on production processes, workspaces and workflows, and forms of relationship within organizations.
The proposal will also focus on the importance of building strategies with purpose, strengthening leadership, and developing capabilities for decision-making in scenarios of constant transformation.
In this framework, Blas Briceño, CEO and founder of Finnegans, will provide an intervention especially aimed at leaders and those responsible for organizations, with tools and concepts for strategic planning in contexts of change.
The organizers highlighted that the initiative seeks to bring the productive sector closer to those who can provide knowledge, technology, and concrete solutions, favoring the improvement of processes, the optimization of resources, the increase in productivity, and the development of new business models.
In this sense, Concordia and Salto find in binational articulation an opportunity to strengthen their ties, expand business networks, and build a common agenda for innovation and development.
WHAT THE PROPOSAL WILL BE LIKE
The meeting will take place on Thursday, November 12, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., in the Hall of the Argentine Delegation of CTM Salto Grande.
The participation of more than 80 entrepreneurs, professionals, and leaders from the productive ecosystem of both cities is expected. The activity is free of charge and spots are already full.
After the institutional opening, keynote speeches and exchange spaces will be held. The day will continue with a networking and business round session, through a guided dynamic that will facilitate contact between participants, the exchange of experiences, and the identification of possible collaboration opportunities.
For Concordia and Salto, AI and Business represents a new step in building a shared work agenda, which bets on regional integration, business competitiveness, and the sustainable development of their communities.
