The Decentralized Sanitary Works Entity (EDOS) reported that this Tuesday, March 7, a booster pump will be replaced at the Water Treatment Plant. A pump that was fully repaired in workshops in Buenos Aires will be placed, and a new impeller will be installed.
The Water Treatment Plant staff worked this Monday on the maneuvers to move the pumps to the replacement site and on preparing the logistics to carry out the tasks this Tuesday. The work will begin early in the morning and will last for approximately six hours.
During the time the aforementioned work is being carried out, a drop in water pressure in the network may occur in some areas of the city, so EDOS recommends that residents take the necessary precautions. If there are no unforeseen events, the pump replacement should be completed by noon.
