The Decentralized Sanitary Works Entity (EDOS) is carrying out a sewage network extension project on Balcarce street between Odiard and Larocca. It consists of a project for small branches in neighborhoods where the grid remains to be completed, which "are some of the priorities that the EDOS board together with Mayor Enrique Cresto defined" to improve the provision of the service in the city.
“It is a program that consists of completing the area's network grid”, detailed the Technical Manager of EDOS, Mireya López Bernis. She also added that “there are cases in which residents propose a shared effort to us”, which allows for accelerating the execution processes of the works.
In this case, she specified that “we are taking charge of the costs of the work in its entirety. It is a project that will be finished quickly, given that the crews of workers are working double shifts”.
