The Decentralized Sanitary Works Entity (EDOS) informs that one of the main pumps driving the city's water network has broken. Given this situation, the agency has arranged an emergency operation to fix the malfunction. The pump failure is due to the overexertion of the power plant, caused by the excessive demand for water due to the high temperatures being recorded.
The EDOS specified that after being removed, the pump will be repaired and it is estimated that, barring any major unforeseen events, the work should be completed by this Monday afternoon.
Until the damaged pump is repaired and put back into operation, there will be a significant decrease in water network pressure. Therefore, residents are advised to take the necessary precautions and cooperate with water usage, avoiding waste.
