It will take place at the Concordia Convention Center. “We hope to have the presence of the entire carnival community to share a unique coronation moment,” stated the Director of the Permanent Carnival Entity, Luis Sánchez.
Next Friday, April 4, the awards and coronation ceremony for the new winning figures of the 2025 edition of the Concordia Carnival will be held at the Concordia Convention Center.
In this context, the Director of the Permanent Carnival Entity, Luis Sánchez, indicated that “after holding conversations with the representatives of the comparsas, presidents, and inspectors, we have decided to give advance notice that the awards ceremony will take place on Friday, April 4. This way, the artists will be able to organize themselves in time and, in the event that weather conditions are adverse, the event will not be suspended,” he confirmed.
Likewise, Sánchez pointed out that the intention of the Carnival Entity was for the ceremony to take place. “The two times it had to be suspended, it was not due to a decision by the Carnival Entity, but rather it was suspended because we wanted to respect the purpose of the event; which is to reward our artists and the winning comparsa, since everyone fought throughout the entire year to obtain the award,” he added.
Finally, he expressed his wishes to “have the presence of the entire carnival community to share a unique coronation moment that will be the closing of the 2025 edition of our carnival.”
