This Saturday, FIT 2017, the most important tourism fair in Latin America, began at La Rural in Buenos Aires. Institutions, tourism producers, entrepreneurs, agencies, and specialized media from across the continent are gathering during these days, providing a special opportunity for destinations to promote themselves. Concordia is present at the event, promoting the National Citriculture Festival, the Carnival, and the natural attractions the city has to offer.
"Concordia is present at the Entre Ríos province stand, and together with Federación, we are promoting ourselves jointly as the Salto Grande Region, which is the initiative that our mayor Enrique Cresto has promoted alongside Mayor Carlos Cecco," said Max Klaric, Executive President of the Mixed Entity of Tourism of Concordia. "This is a special opportunity in which we can showcase all the proposals the city has, the different circuits, and events of great relevance such as the Citriculture Festival and the Carnival. By showing ourselves together as the Salto Grande Region, it is further enhanced," notes Klaric.
In addition to promoting Concordia as a destination for visitors, the Fair is also visited by many investors who thus get to know this tourist hub and all the development potential it has. "Together with the President of Codesal, José Carlos Ostrosky, Mayor Cecco, and the National Minister of Tourism Gustavo Santos, we toured the Concordia and Salto Grande Region stand within the Entre Ríos proposal, and we had the opportunity to tell many media outlets how the city is preparing for the 2018 summer season and the joint work that Mayor Cresto is carrying out between the public and private sectors," added Klaric.
