This Friday, the second and final day of the Pecan Cluster meeting was held in Concordia, which year after year brings together hundreds of producers, specialists, and stakeholders in the sector from different parts of the country and the world.
The Mayor Francisco Azcué participated in the second day, where he referred to the importance of the sector in the region and the province: “We are clear that the private sector is the engine of development, which is why we admire you and work together with you,” noting that “the State must be a facilitator. That has been the message and the instruction given to us by our governor Rogelio Frigerio, and we are working in that direction and along that line of action.”
Likewise, he maintained that “we see an enormous opportunity in pecans, just as we see it in other areas of production. The most important thing is that we have the talent, the strength of our producers, of the entrepreneurs, and of our business owners, who are the true protagonists.”
In this 2025, around 300 attendees participated from our country, Uruguay, Brazil, Mexico, and the United States, in addition to 20 renowned local and international experts who presented the latest production, commercial, and market information.
