During a large part of this Wednesday, crews from the Decentralized Sanitary Works Entity (EDOS) worked on unblocking the sewage networks at Teniente Ibañez and Humberto Primo and their surroundings.
At the site, municipal personnel had to remove a large amount of waste that is not suitable for the sewage system, and which hinders the operation of the entire network.
Nearly 80% of the complaints addressed are related to the misuse of the sewage system, due to solids thrown into the system from homes or through access covers. It is important that residents make proper use of the sewage network for the benefit of all.
