In this 2025, the Visual Arts Museum (MAV), under the Undersecretariat of Culture of the Municipality of Concordia, is celebrating its 60th anniversary and for this reason, it has prepared a special exhibition.
It is titled “60 years, sixty works”, whose inauguration is scheduled for next March 28th, at 8:30 PM.
Hugo Musser, Director of the MAV, explained that the exhibition “is basically a curation in relation to very important works of the museum, which have marked a particular moment and among which we can find works belonging to the first collection” adding that it will also include works awarded during the 15 years of existence of the Bicentennial Salon.
“It is a public collection that has demanded a lot of effort, especially during the last 20 years, where very important works by artists from Concordia and Argentina have been acquired” he pointed out.
After extending an invitation to the entire community, Musser announced that another objective is to be able to work with activities with the city's educational establishments, remarking that “it will be an exhibition of great character. We must feel proud since the museum's collection has 600 works, of which we have selected only 10% for this occasion”.
