Concordia continues to strengthen its presence through promotional actions, digital strategies, and participation in events. This Monday, progress was made in the planning of the Sustainable Tourism Strategic Plan, a participatory planning process that involves all sectors of local tourism. In addition, an assessment of the actions implemented so far was carried out, highlighting key initiatives to boost local tourism development.
Among the actions, the importance of continuing with dissemination campaigns through national and regional media outlets specialized in digital journalism was highlighted, whose coverage guarantees key exposure for the positioning of Concordia as a diverse and comprehensive tourist destination in the Argentine Litoral. Furthermore, the presence of content creators who visit the city and showcase the wide variety of experiences that Concordia offers was underscored.
THE “CONCORPASS” AND “EXPLORÁ CONCORDIA” PROGRAMS RETURN
One of the central points of the meeting was the coordination of the launch of the third edition of ConcorPass, with the approval of all board members, which will be officially presented in the coming days and will be in effect from May to July of the current year. This program seeks to consolidate itself as a sustainable public policy, offering a wide variety of benefits and discounts for those who choose to visit the city, thus incentivizing tourist flow and local economic development.
Another relevant aspect, based on tourism awareness and quality actions, will be the second edition of "Explorá Concordia 2025", a program that was articulated with the Departmental Directorate of Schools. In its first edition, it allowed 1,500 children and young people from more than 40 local institutions to approach the city's heritage, consolidating itself as a valuable tool for awareness, learning, and integration.
ARTICULATION WITH THE UNER
Within the framework of strengthening tourism in Concordia, a specific agreement will be signed with the Universidad Nacional de Entre Ríos (UNER) to define the actions and initiate the development of the 2025-2030 Sustainable Tourism Strategic Plan. This plan will include all actors, both direct and indirect, of tourism activity. Having academic backing will allow for an objective and comprehensive vision of the destination, guaranteeing a strategic and sustainable approach to achieve the tourism positioning that the destination desires and can reach.
In this sense, both the Undersecretariat of Tourism and EMCONTUR will continue to work committedly on the development of a comprehensive tourist destination, with a clear projection towards sustainable tourism.
AIR CONNECTIVITY
Another outstanding topic was to continue monitoring the progress of the different efforts being made regarding the local Airport, as it is expected to be operational shortly and provide new development opportunities to the "Salto Grande" region.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the institutions that make up the entity; the Hotel and Gastronomic Association of Concordia (AHGC), The Union of Tourism, Hotel and Gastronomic Workers of the Argentine Republic (UTHGRA), the Concordiense Association of Independent Tourism Workers (ACTITUR), the College of Tourism Professionals of Entre Ríos (COPROTUER), the Center for Commerce, Industry and Services of Concordia (CCISC), Councilors from the different blocs, and representatives of the Undersecretariat of Tourism.
