With a great popular festival at the "Atanasio Bonfiglio" Corsódromo, this Friday the 2018 edition of the Pequeños Duendes Carnival will conclude. Much more than just the Carnival Nursery of Concordia, it is a phenomenon of social inclusion and cultural expression, through which children from different neighborhoods meet, learn, and have fun under the premises of solidarity, companionship, and teamwork. Starting at 8:00 PM, the 13 troupes will parade on the main stage. With free admission, school supplies can be donated at the entrances, which will be distributed through charitable institutions.
Fridays and Sundays in January and February were for them. The 13 troupes of the Popular Children's Carnival of Concordia made the summer season a season of great tenderness, rhythm, and passion. This Friday, February 16, they will close an edition of carnival joy with many surprises, in which a proposal of cultural inclusion with its own identity was consolidated, which characterizes the administration of Mayor Enrique Cresto, promoting educational and solidarity values in the little ones and generating opportunities for all. Together with the main Carnival and the Popular Carnival of Joy, the Pequeños Duendes turn the city into the Capital of Carnivals.
With the opening of the Pequeños Duendes Carnival at the Costanera, the children began to visit different parts of the city so that everyone could enjoy this unique carnival in the whole country. The Centenario neighborhood, the South Zone, La Bianca, Parque Ferre, and the Cipo neighborhood were the meeting points to share with the residents this festival so awaited by everyone throughout the year.
On the last night of the Pequeños Duendes parade, in the Corsódromo track, all families will be able to enjoy all the troupes, some surprises, and also meet the winners and distinguished participants of this edition. The party will begin at 8:00 PM. Admission is free, and at the entrances (both via Próspero Bovino and Gobernador Cresto), volunteers from the Conased Foundation will receive school supplies that will later be donated through charitable institutions.
