During October 17th and 18th, the first Multisectoral Productive Exhibition of Concordia and the region, “Expo Concordia Produce”, will be held, organized by the Municipality through the Secretariat of Productive Development and the participation of different local, provincial, and national agencies and institutions.
Among its main objectives is to boost production and development in Concordia and the region, seeking to favor the competitiveness of the different productive chains as well as to highlight the commercial offer in all its dimensions.
CENTRAL AXIS
This multisectoral event foresees three activities as its central axis: Exhibition, Business Round, and Conference Cycle.
The Exhibition is a great opportunity to showcase products and services, link exhibitors with buyers, generate networking spaces, promote positioning, contribute to the development of diverse productive activities, and strengthen commercial ties. It favors the creation of an exchange environment, with a view to initiating or deepening commercial relationships and concretizing associative experiences.
The Business Round facilitates direct contact between entrepreneurs, producers, merchants, service providers, and investors. It allows for holding previously established meetings to establish new commercial contacts, build customer loyalty, and access solutions. It can be carried out between local companies and with firms from abroad.
The Cycle of Conferences and research papers is a space designed for invited specialists to share reflections, analysis, and information on the challenges and opportunities of each sector and current trends. It includes dissertations and plenary conferences with prominent national and international experts, oral conferences, poster panels, and research papers.
Contributing to the current context, this event will be the reference and meeting point for all productive value chains to professionalize, update, share experiences and knowledge, and promote associative actions among entrepreneurs, business owners, and SMEs in the sector.
FOSTERING MEETINGS AND GENERATING OPPORTUNITIES
In this regard, the Secretary of Productive Development, Engineer Federico Schattenhofer, explained that the event will be a “multisectoral productive exhibition, where we intend to foster the meeting between producers, suppliers, and investors, through diverse activities”.
It seeks to “encompass a virtuous triduum, as we call it, which is the State, the private sector, and the academic sector, based on the exhibition of the city's productive, industrial, and commercial sector”.
Finally, Schattenhofer highlighted that the event will also have an impact on tourism. “The productive aspect is not limited only to Concordia but also to the entire region. There are interests outside the province and outside the country as well, which will converge to make this meeting as enriching as possible”.
The Industry and Commerce Center of Concordia, the National University of Entre Ríos (UNER), and the National Technological University (UTN), among other institutions and agencies, will be part of the meeting.
