During the daily control and supervision rounds, this weekend EDOS personnel detected a water leak in a main supply pipe on Salto Uruguayo street between Misiones and Lucas González, very close to the water treatment plant.
Given this, the Decentralized Sanitary Works Entity organized an intervention operation before the problem worsens, so they are already working on-site, and this Monday from very early on, several crews from the agency will proceed to repair the detected rupture.
EDOS reported that temporary interruptions in the drinking water supply may occur around noon this Monday, affecting the normal provision of the service due to the tasks to be carried out.
The population is informed so that they may take the corresponding precautionary measures. We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of the residents regarding the inconveniences that these maintenance and repair works may eventually cause.
At the same time, the municipal Sanitary Works department reported that on Chajarí street near San Carlos, the street is closed due to a burst spring, which caused the street to flood. EDOS personnel are carrying out various tasks (draining and filling of streets, etc.) so that normal traffic can be restored in the sector.
