The Undersecretariat of Tourism of the Municipality of Concordia and the Mixed Entity of Tourism of Concordia (EMCONTUR) carried out a tourism promotion tour through three cities in the country to showcase the attractions and experiences that the city offers for the upcoming summer season, attract visitors from new markets, and consolidate its positioning as a destination to enjoy throughout the year.
The agenda began on Wednesday, October 21, on the pedestrian street of Santa Fe, continued on Thursday, October 22, on the Costanera of Villa Carlos Paz, Córdoba, and concluded on Friday, October 23, and Saturday, October 24, at the pergola of the pedestrian street in the city of Mendoza, capital of the province.
In each city, promotional actions were carried out on public roads, which allowed for direct contact with the public, providing information about the main attractions of Concordia and offering alternatives for those who are beginning to organize their next vacations.
During the tour, a tourism offer was promoted that brings together hot springs, nature, recreational activities, wine tourism, gastronomy, regional products, rural tourism, and sport fishing. Historical heritage and cultural experiences were also highlighted, with special reference to the Castillo San Carlos and its link to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, author of the work "The Little Prince," which is part of the distinctive attractions of Concordia. Added to this is an agenda of events that expands the options for different audiences and at different times of the year.
These actions are part of the promotion strategy that the Undersecretariat of Tourism of Concordia and EMCONTUR are promoting in different parts of the country, with the objective of expanding reach to new audiences, generating opportunities to attract visitors, and strengthening the presence of Concordia in strategic markets.
In this line, work will continue in priority cities for the growth of tourism activity, especially in those where there is significant potential to attract new visitors. Direct contact allows for showcasing local attractions, sparking the interest of those looking for new experiences, and showing the National Capital of Citrus as an alternative to enjoy the upcoming summer vacations.
