The mayor Alfredo Francolini held a working meeting with the ExtraMuros team, assessing the work carried out in recent months within the framework of the municipal program that brings health policies to the most vulnerable neighborhoods, contributing to improving the quality of life of all residents of Concordia.
The Mayor, together with the Secretary of Health and Sports Dr. Mauro García, the coordinator of the ExtraMuros program Dr. Blas Seminario Gómez, and councilwoman Claudia Villalba, reviewed the work carried out and, together with the members of the Extra-Muros team, analyzed the survey conducted in the Arrocero neighborhood, in the Sarmiento neighborhood settlement, and in the Pampa Soler neighborhood. The Secretary of Management Coordination, Fernando Barboza, was also present at the meeting.
“The work during the last three months has a highly positive balance of all tasks. Doctors, nurses, dentists, vaccinators, and various health professionals and members of the Secretariat of Social Development worked together with the goal of providing assistance and healthcare to many people,” assessed García.
"A report of the survey in several settlements where demographic growth is changing, with the social and health problems of each family, was delivered to the Mayor," commented councilwoman Claudia Villalba. The survey includes statistical and census information on the families living in each household and their composition. During the outreach, in addition to specific healthcare, the team provided advice and carried out procedures for DNI, vaccination cards, documentation for the Universal Child Allowance and Law 4035, among others.
"Our work will continue with the most critical emerging social groups. We will continue with the follow-up to see if the families are keeping their appointments and receiving care, if they have had the exams done, and monitoring that their health status improves; the decision is to provide support to every family that needs it," concluded Villalba.
