In an emotional ceremony held at the Directorate of Social Strengthening Policies, which reports to the Health Secretariat of the Municipality of Concordia, two patients who were part of the Municipal Device for Addressing Addictive Behaviors and Problematic Consumption (DiMACACoP) program were discharged.
Present were the Mayor Dr. Francisco Azcué; the Secretary of Cabinet Coordination and Treasury, Public Accountant Pablo Ferreyra; the Secretary of Health Dr. Diego Sauré, along with the Director of Social Strengthening, Lic. After congratulating those who were discharged, Mayor Azcué emphasized that both are an example of overcoming, strength, and determination. “That is the message you carry to our community, that it is possible, with the support of the family, which is always important, and the tools offered by the State. We are proud of this personal achievement of each one of you, and our commitment is to continue working on these types of policies.”
Dr. Sauré expressed himself in the same vein, highlighting the courage and effort that each one put in to achieve the objectives, as well as the role and commitment of the various professionals who are part of the Municipal Device for Addressing Addictive Behaviors and Problematic Consumption.
Finally, Vergara also valued the support and accompaniment of the families of those who were discharged, as well as those who are part of the program, on both sides. “We will continue along this line so that achievements continue to add up,” she stated.
Accompanying them were the Undersecretary of Health Dr. Germán José Margaritini; the Undersecretary of Sports Ivana Pérez; Councilwoman Claudia Villalba, as well as area staff and family members.
