The governor of Entre Ríos, Rogelio Frigerio, together with the mayor Francisco Azcué, delivered housing documentation to families in the Agua Patito neighborhood, in an act that highlighted the joint work between the province and the municipality to solve housing problems in flood-prone areas.
Frigerio highlighted the importance of the initiative, noting that many of the beneficiary families had been waiting for a solution for more than six years. "They were living in a clearly flood-prone area, and today they are receiving quality housing, built on safe land," he stated. In addition, he congratulated the municipality for the efficiency in the use of resources, which allowed for concrete responses to the residents.
For his part, Azcué recalled that the project emerged after last year's severe floods, when a relocation plan was initiated for the most affected families. "We are not only building houses, but we are also working on integration: we are managing school desks, medical records in health centers, and comprehensive support," he detailed.
MORE WORKS ON THE AGENDA
In addition to the delivery of documentation, the governor visited other key points in Concordia, such as the Cavallo Automotores venture, which aims to make future investments. There, they were received by the founder of the company, José Cavallo, and his son Matías, along with Leandro Postel and Andrés Sborovsky.
He then moved to the Gerardo Yoya Secondary School No. 9, where he was received by the principal, Carolina Grifasi, and the departmental director of schools, Julio Barrios.
Subsequently, he visited the Defensores del Barrio Nebel Club, spoke with the president of the institution and prominent former soccer player Gustavo Bou. He toured the facilities and, on the field, greeted the club's youth soccer players as well as coaches and officials.
Participating in the tour were the Secretary General of the Government, Mauricio Colello; the Ministers of Planning, Infrastructure and Services, Darío Schneider, and of Economic Development, Guillermo Bernaudo; the president of the Administrative Commission for the Special Fund of Salto Grande (Cafesg), Carlos Cecco, and provincial and national legislators, among others.
