Next Tuesday, April 29th at 10:30 a.m., the “Hablemos” talk will take place at the Club Estudiantes de Concordia facilities, led by actor and host Gastón Pauls, focusing on addiction prevention.
The activity, organized by the Municipality of Concordia through the Undersecretariat of Education and the Undersecretariat of Culture, will be attended by more than 5,000 young people from Concordia and the Department.
This meeting constitutes a concrete action within the framework of the public policies promoted by the current municipal administration which, with a strong social and educational focus, prioritizes the support of youth, their comprehensive health, and the construction of protective environments. The proposal seeks to provide tools for the development of a full life, away from problematic substance use.
“We are convinced that educating is also caring. That is why this administration is committed to reaching our young people with formative, reflective, and transformative proposals. These types of actions not only raise awareness but also promote a true social commitment to their present and their future,” stated the Mayor, Dr. Francisco Azcué.
The talk is supported by the Honorable Chamber of Senators and the Honorable Chamber of Deputies of the Province of Entre Ríos, as well as by the Argentine Delegation to the Mixed Technical Commission of Salto Grande, and is part of a plan coordinated with the Departmental Directorate of Schools of Concordia and various municipal areas.
For his part, Prof. Carlos Gatto, Undersecretary of Education and Culture, stated: “We know that addressing addictions requires joint work, institutional commitment, and political decision-making. That is why the networking we are achieving between schools, municipalities, provincial agencies, and social actors is so important. This talk with Gastón Pauls will undoubtedly be a milestone, not only for his courageous testimony but for the power of opening a dialogue with our young people.”
The Municipality of Concordia especially thanks all the educational institutions, management teams, and teachers who are accompanying us, as well as the staff of Club Estudiantes and every collaborator who makes this meeting possible.
