The Municipality of Concordia, through the Department of Senior Citizen Policies, will carry out a new Vaccination and Health Prevention Day aimed at older adults, with the objective of promoting access to prevention, facilitating health check-ups, and continuing to strengthen comprehensive health care.
The activity will take place next Friday, November 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at Plaza 25 de Mayo in our city.
During the day, the flu, Hepatitis B, tetanus, and pneumococcal vaccines will be administered free of charge, in accordance with the National Vaccination Calendar and the instructions of health personnel. Likewise, free HIV and syphilis testing will be carried out, with the purpose of promoting early detection and timely access to health care.
The proposal will be carried out in coordination with the Municipal Immunization Area, the Municipal Epidemiological Node for Immunizations, and the Departmental Epidemiological Node of the Delicia Concepción Masvernat Hospital.
The municipality invites older adults to participate in this initiative and to come with their DNI and, if they have one, their vaccination record, in order to facilitate the review and updating of the corresponding schedules.
This day is part of the public policies promoted by the municipality to bring health services closer to the community, strengthen prevention actions, and promote active and healthy aging.
