This past Wednesday, a group of retirees from different centers in the city participated in a unique experience at the “Tierra Mágica del Principito”, a tour organized by the Undersecretariat of Development and Entrepreneurship and the Undersecretariat of Tourism of the Municipality of Concordia.
From early on, the participants departed from the Tourist Information Center heading to this emblematic site, where they were able to tour its facilities and enjoy the beauty of the landscape. The activity, which did not require prior registration, had a limited capacity, allowing each person to experience the tour in a personalized and enriching way.
During the day, the senior citizens shared moments of recreation and reflection around the work of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, whose timeless message continues to resonate with all generations.
In this regard, Gladys Portugal, Head of the Department of Senior Citizen Policies, stated: “This initiative seeks to create spaces for meeting and recreation for our retirees, promoting local tourism and the enjoyment of our cultural identity. It was very gratifying to see their smiles and the enthusiasm with which they participated in each activity.”
From the Municipality, they highlighted the importance of continuing to promote tourism and cultural proposals that include senior citizens, providing them with new experiences and fostering their well-being.
