Through coordination with the 6th Blandengues Tank Cavalry Regiment and the Municipality of Concordia, the Anastassia Foundation from the city of Buenos Aires, led by Dr. Marcelo Knopoff, is conducting medical assistance sessions at the city's evacuation centers. In addition, they are distributing non-perishable food and clothing, with the aim of providing support and accompaniment to the affected families.
“Across the country, we have established units in the city of Buenos Aires, Chaco, Salta, Catamarca, and, on this occasion, we have come to Concordia to collaborate with the victims and those affected by the floods,” explained the Foundation's president. He also stated that “we delivered food and provided medical care at evacuation centers such as the 6th Blandengues Tank Cavalry Regiment. During these days, we will continue visiting the centers to collaborate and we will also be participating in rescue operations,” he detailed.
The Anastassia Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to solidarity medicine, providing free health care. They work extensively in various parts of the country, assisting populations in vulnerable situations.
Furthermore, Knopoff commented that “we now have an international projection because we are running a fundraising campaign for our trip to Haiti, as we have a signed agreement with the government there to intervene in the conflicts in Palestine, Israel, Ukraine, and Russia. So, those who wish to collaborate can do so by donating clothing, footwear, and non-perishable food,” he detailed.
