The Municipality of Concordia, through the Employment Directorate, informs that registration is open to participate in the Water-Based Hydrolacquer Workshop, a practical training proposal aimed at providing tools and knowledge on preparation, application, and finishing techniques to protect and renew wooden furniture and objects.
The activity, which is free of charge, will take place on Thursday, November 19, starting at 2:00 PM, in the Labor Training Room of the Concordia Civic Center, located on the first floor, at the intersection of Mitre and Pellegrini.
The proposal is developed through joint work with the private sector, with the participation of Bourlot, Centro de Cortes, Placas & Herrajes, supporting training initiatives linked to the woodworking trade.
During the session, different techniques related to the use of water-based hydrolacquer will be addressed, emphasizing surface preparation procedures, product application, and finishes, with the aim of incorporating practical knowledge that allows for the improvement and renewal of wooden objects and furniture.
The training will be led by Martín Coduri, a specialist in furniture design and manufacturing, who will share his knowledge and experience in working with wood and its different protection and finishing alternatives.
REGISTRATIONS
Those interested in participating may register at the offices of the Employment Directorate, located on the first floor of the Concordia Civic Center (Mitre and Pellegrini), from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
The proposal is part of the training and labor education policies promoted by the Municipality of Concordia, through the Infrastructure and Development Plan towards the Bicentennial, with the objective of providing tools for learning trades, strengthening labor capacities, and expanding opportunities for productive and entrepreneurial development.
The Employment Directorate continues to promote these types of initiatives, strengthening coordination with companies and private sector actors to create practical training spaces that allow residents to incorporate new knowledge, develop skills, and find alternatives for personal projects, jobs, and ventures.
