Mayor Francisco Azcué supervised the high-altitude pruning tasks being carried out on Eva Perón Avenue with the aim of preventing risk situations for residents, drivers, and public or private property.
The work is being carried out with specialized equipment and trained personnel, and is part of a tree maintenance action along the most heavily traveled avenues or streets in the city.
Accompanied by the Secretary of Public Services Oscar Ramírez, Mayor Azcué highlighted the importance of this type of intervention “because in this way we provide greater safety and thus avoid future inconveniences in the event that we are affected by a storm or weather phenomenon. A significant investment is being made, which requires a lot of work and logistics.”
“For a long time, the necessary interventions were not carried out, and today we are doing it with a work plan. We started on Eva Perón Avenue, which is the place where there is the largest number of large trees, but this plan will continue in other parts of the city,” remarked Azcué.
For his part, Ramírez explained that these are the results of joint work by different areas of the Secretariat of Public Services, “where we were detecting and also receiving requests from residents, starting the pruning in the sectors that presented the greatest complexity or critical state.”
