The Municipality of Concordia, through the Secretariat of Health, in a joint effort with the Delicia Concepción Masvernat Hospital, will carry out the “Nursing in the Plaza: Prevent, Know, Care” event, within the framework of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The activity will take place on Monday, October 19, from 9:00 to 11:00, at the Peatonal del Bicentenario, located in Plaza 25 de Mayo, with the objective of bringing information and prevention tools to the community, promoting self-care and the importance of early detection.
During the event, the Nursing team from the Outpatient Clinics of the Masvernat Hospital, together with a medical professional specializing in Gynecology, will provide information and guidance on health check-ups, the importance of mammograms, warning signs, and the need to consult in case of changes or symptoms that may arise.
The proposal will feature educational stations and participatory activities to clear up doubts, share information, and guide residents on the available health services and the ways to access medical care.
The event will be free, open, and participatory, aimed at the general community, with special emphasis on adult women and all people interested in learning more about breast cancer prevention.
Through this joint initiative, the Municipality and the Masvernat Hospital strengthen the articulated work between health institutions and the community, promoting health, prevention, and access to clear and timely information.
