The Municipality of Concordia handed over the warehouses of the “Viñedos Moulins” Central Park to the 2025 Estudiantes Concordienses Unidos (ECU) commission so that the students can begin the assembly of the floats.
“What happens in Concordia with the students is unique,” stated Mayor Francisco Azcué, remarking that from now on “they begin to live an unforgettable experience that has cultural and identity components that will accompany them forever. This celebration is part of our heritage.”
Vice Mayor Magdalena Reta de Urquiza stated: “I want to congratulate you all for this stage, which is two very important months in the lives of the students but also for the parents who are constantly supporting them. Enjoy it to the fullest because the days coming up until September are truly very important.”
Government Secretary Luciano Dell´Olio congratulated the ECU commission for the work they are doing as well as “all the kids from the schools for daring to take on this challenge in these final years of school, which is an enormous responsibility. We will continue working so that this celebration is a unique event and so that it continues to grow.”
Likewise, the Secretary of Human Development Sebastián Arístide highlighted “the importance that this experience has for each one of you, as it is a stage where friendships are strengthened, and your creativity and joint work are stimulated.”
Finally, Liz Martínez, president of Estudiantes Concordienses Unidos, expressed her gratitude to the municipality for the support and added that “for us, the students of Concordia, the handover of the warehouses means a magical moment for the classes of '25 and '26.”
