Within the framework of the public policies promoted by Mayor Francisco Azcué to strengthen education and job training in the community, the Undersecretary of Education of the Municipality of Concordia, Prof. Carlos Gatto, met with the Chief of the 6th Tank Cavalry Regiment 'Blandengues', Lieutenant Colonel Jorge Andrés Camarino, and the Second-in-Command, to coordinate the professional training workshops that will be held this year at the Regiment's facilities.
These workshops are part of the framework cooperation agreement signed between the Municipality of Concordia and the Argentine Army, with the aim of providing training and education tools to the community.
“This proposal arises from the joint work between the Undersecretariat of Education and the Regiment, and seeks to offer concrete opportunities so that more residents can train and acquire new knowledge. We are committed to education as a path to inclusion and personal development, in line with the policies carried out by our mayor Francisco Azcué,” stated Prof. Carlos Gatto.
For his part, Lieutenant Colonel Jorge Andrés Camarino highlighted: “It is an honor for us to be part of this initiative. From the Regiment, we have the responsibility and commitment to contribute to the community. Making our facilities available for professional training is a way to give back and strengthen that bond.”
Currently, pre-registration is open for the following workshops: Painting, Carpentry, Masonry, Tailoring, and Sport Horse Care
Requirements: be over 18 years of age, present a photocopy of your DNI, and a certificate of good health. Pre-registration will take place at the offices of the Undersecretariat of Education (Avellaneda 26) from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 12:00 hours.
Classes begin in the month of April and will be held in person on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:00 to 12:00 hours at the facilities of the 6th Tank Cavalry Regiment 'Blandengues'.
