A collaboration agreement was signed between the Municipality of Concordia and SEDRONAR, with the objective of launching the Community Gardens program at the Territorial Community Device (DTC) in the Los Pájaros neighborhood.
The agreement will provide training, technical support, and resources for the development of community gardens, promoting social inclusion and food sovereignty.
The signing was attended by the Secretary of Productive Development, Eng. Federico Schattenhofer; the Director of Citizen Participation, José Vedoya; the legal advisor to the Secretariat, Dr. Aníbal Vizzo, and the coordinator of the DTC Los Pájaros, Mónica Villarreal.
Schattenhofer highlighted the importance of this agreement: “Through these initiatives, we not only encourage the production of healthy food, but we also create spaces for integration and learning for the community within the framework of the public policy program promoted by the administration of Mayor Francisco Azcué. Our commitment is to continue promoting programs that foster local development and social well-being".
For her part, Mónica Villarreal, coordinator of the DTC, highlighted: “This project allows us to strengthen the work we have been doing in the neighborhood, providing new tools to families and promoting healthy eating habits.”
Finally, Vedoya stated: “This agreement is one more step in building a more solidary and committed community, where joint work yields concrete results for the well-being of our residents.”
