With a great turnout of families and an atmosphere of joy and color, the 2026 Little Goblins Carnival began, one of the most anticipated cultural proposals of the summer in Concordia, designed especially for children and the enjoyment of the entire community, with free admission.
The first night featured the parade of the comparsas Los del Río, Los Peques de Camba Paso, Villa Samba, Los Enanitos del Carnaval, Bella Flor, Ferro Berá, and Los Cabezones, which filled the “Atanasio Bonfiglio” Corsódromo with music, color, and joy, receiving the recognition and applause of the public present.
During the opening, the Mayor of Concordia, Francisco Azcué, highlighted the importance of the children's carnival as a space for gathering and social support: “It is a great joy to be able to share this beginning with the families and see the children enjoy themselves and be the protagonists. The Little Goblins Carnival represents fundamental values such as inclusion, culture, and the identity of our city, and from the Municipality, we will continue to support and strengthen these types of initiatives.”
For his part, the Director of the Permanent Carnival Entity, Luis Sánchez, remarked on the collective work that makes each edition possible: “This carnival is designed for children to live a unique experience, where they can express themselves, learn, and enjoy. Behind every parade, there is an enormous effort from the comparsas, the families, and the municipal teams. It is a free, safe, and organized celebration for the entire community.”
The 2026 Little Goblins Carnival will continue at the Atanasio Bonfiglio Corsódromo on February 17 and 22, starting at 8:00 PM. On the final day, a solidarity action will be carried out, inviting the public to collaborate by donating a non-perishable food item, which will be destined for a social institution in the city.
The Municipality of Concordia and the Permanent Carnival Entity invite the entire community to continue supporting and enjoying this celebration that highlights the creativity, joy, and prominence of the children of Concordia.
Present were the Secretary of Government, Luciano Dell´Olio; the Undersecretary of Government, Lucas Fuscado; the Undersecretary of Culture and Education, Carlos Gatto; councilwomen Eliana Lagraña and Silvina Ovelar; among other municipal officials, in addition to representatives of the different comparsas participating in this edition.
