Personnel from the Decentralized Entity of Sanitary Works of the Municipality of Concordia (EDOS) carried out an important comprehensive cleaning operation, unblocking of the sewage network, and repair of leaks in the drinking water network in the Los Pájaros neighborhood. In addition, they performed pump replacement tasks in the La Bianca neighborhood.
In this regard, Mireya López Bernis, interim manager of EDOS, indicated that “since the administration of mayor Enrique Cresto, we have been working hard to be able to provide more and better services to the community of Concordia,” which is why “it is important that we all make responsible use of these resources, but also take care of them.”
The official remarked that, unfortunately, on many occasions “we have found unthinkable things inside the sewage system that only cause it to malfunction, break, and cause problems for residents,” citing as an example that in the case of Los Pájaros, they even found a complete car tire.
Finally, López Bernis indicated that in the La Bianca neighborhood “we changed a pump so that there are no problems with the supply of drinking water in that sector of the city.”
