The Municipality of Concordia informs that during the month of May, two important fairs will be held to promote the work of entrepreneurs and local social economy actors.
On one hand, the Paseo del Río Fair, organized by the Undersecretariat of Development and Entrepreneurship, will take place at Playa Los Sauces (Costanera de Concordia) on Saturday the 10th and Sunday the 11th, and Saturday the 17th and Sunday the 18th of May, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This proposal brings together ventures from different sectors in a natural and accessible environment for the whole family.
On the other hand, the Social Economy Fair, organized by the Directorate of Cooperativism and Associativism, will be held at Plaza 25 de Mayo-Paseo del Bicentenario for three consecutive weeks: Wednesday the 7th and Thursday the 8th; Thursday the 15th and Friday the 16th; and Thursday the 22nd and Friday the 23rd of May, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
The objective of this space is to strengthen direct marketing channels for local products, promoting responsible consumption and support for community production.
Both initiatives seek to boost local economic development and provide visibility to self-managed productive projects, strengthening the ties between the municipal government and popular sectors.
