The Municipality of Concordia, through the Undersecretariat of Education and Culture, in joint work with the Association of Friends of the Pedestrian Mall, will launch Modo Cultura, a new cultural cycle designed to bring art to public spaces and generate new meeting areas for residents, merchants, and visitors.
The proposal is born with the objective of transforming the pedestrian mall and the Bicentennial Promenade into open stages, where culture is the protagonist through different artistic expressions. Live music, dance, theater, interventions for children, exhibitions, and other proposals will be part of a program that will seek to consolidate itself for the remainder of the year.
The launch of Modo Cultura will take place next Friday, July 31, at 6:30 PM, at the intersection of the Pedestrian Mall and the Bicentennial Promenade, with the performance of the artist from Concordia, Natalia Martínez, marking the beginning of this new cultural meeting space.
From the Undersecretariat of Education and Culture, they pointed out that the initiative seeks to strengthen the link between culture and the community, promoting free access to artistic proposals and providing new dissemination opportunities for local artists.
Likewise, they highlighted the support of the Association of Friends of the Pedestrian Mall, with whom they have been working in an articulated manner to promote actions that contribute to dynamizing one of the city's main commercial corridors, promoting economic activity and generating new spaces for civic coexistence.
