Within the framework of actions aimed at optimizing local tax administration and strengthening cooperation processes between agencies, a working meeting was held between authorities of the Municipality of Concordia and the Tax Administration of Entre Ríos (ATER).
The meeting was attended by the Secretary of Cabinet Coordination and Treasury Pablo Ferreyra; the Director General of Revenue Fernando Marsicano; along with the Director of ATER, Jesús Korell, and the Director of Cadastre of ATER, Mauro Bangert.
During the meeting, the importance of the joint work being carried out by both agencies was reaffirmed, with the goal of having updated databases and integrated systems that allow for more efficient, transparent, and modern tax management.
Among the main topics addressed, the need to deepen the processes of updating, digitalization, and administrative modernization was highlighted, allowing for the improvement of the quality of cadastral and tax information, the optimization of oversight mechanisms, and the provision of greater facilities to taxpayers.
Likewise, it was agreed to advance in new instances of technical exchange to standardize criteria, strengthen data traceability, and support territorial and fiscal planning policies, in line with the urban and economic development axes promoted by the local government.
“Joint work with ATER is fundamental to improve tax management and knowledge of the territory. It allows us to have more precise tools to plan, collect with equity, and continue advancing in a modern administration that is close to the resident,” noted Ferreyra.
For his part, Marsicano highlighted that “these coordination instances strengthen municipal autonomy and guarantee a common, updated information base that benefits both the State and the taxpayer, improving services and simplifying procedures.”
From ATER, they valued the predisposition and institutional commitment of the Municipality of Concordia to advance in a shared work agenda oriented towards innovation, efficiency, and transparency in public management.
