With the presence of Governor Rogelio Frigerio and Mayor Francisco Azcué, the "Atanasio Bonfiglio" said goodbye until next year.
With a full Corsódromo, on a great night of rhythm, color, emotions, and sparkle, the 2024 Concordia carnival had its sixth and final night.
Both Governor Rogelio Frigerio and Mayor Francisco Azcué agreed on highlighting the carnival as one of the engines that drive tourism in the province and our city.
"I didn't want to miss being with so many people who come to enjoy this wonderful carnival, which we must promote more so that it fills up with tourists because this provides jobs and improves the quality of life for everyone," remarked Frigerio.
The governor stated that it is "a celebration of our own, which has a lot of passion just like we put into everything we do in Entre Ríos," adding that this contributed to having a summer season that has been very good.
Finally, Frigerio stressed that Concordia has a great track record in tourism "because there is a lot of untapped potential, with natural beauties, with very good people, so we have everything for it to grow touristically."
CULTURAL HERITAGE
Mayor Francisco Azcué, for his part, highlighted the work done during these six nights of carnival, through which approximately 70,000 people passed.
"We are very happy because this mobilizes and promotes the development of the city, which is why from our administration we will work so that it continues to grow because this is the cultural heritage of all residents of Concordia."
Azcué thanked Governor Frigerio for his visit as well as the work carried out by the carnival organization, the commitment of the comparsas, and the loyalty of the public.
EMOTIONAL TRIBUTE
The most emotional moment was experienced during the tribute paid to Alejandro Martínez, known to all as "Sandro," who passed away recently, leaving a great void in the entire carnival family.
Mayor Azcué, together with Governor Frigerio and the president of the Carnival Entity Luis Sánchez, presented an award to the Martínez family.
HOUSING RAFFLE
And the sixth night brought the raffle of a prefabricated house from Viviendas Roca, in which the numbers drawn on previous nights and the five from this Saturday participated.
Prior to the final draw, the numbers 00230; 51648; 02077; 52054 and 51265 were chosen. Finally, the winner of the house was number 01186.
SCRUTINY
The final scrutiny of the 2024 Concordia Carnival will take place next Tuesday, February 20.
The battle of passions has come to an end once again; another edition full of passion and joy, as characterizes our Carnival, has passed. The runway was illuminated once again with the sparkle and love of Bella Samba, Emperatriz, Imperio, and Ráfaga, so that this edition would be even more surprising and provide us with an incomparable show.
