As announced, the repair and maintenance operation at the city's Water Treatment Plant was carried out early this Sunday morning.
Personnel from the Decentralized Entity of Sanitary Works (EDOS) worked from early hours to perform tasks on the control panels, replace a sectionalizing switch, and sanitize channels, decanters, and flocculators. Once the scheduled tasks were completed, the plant was fully powered on, including both the intake pumps and the pumping station, and the water network service is progressively returning to normal throughout this Sunday morning.
EDOS thanks the residents for their understanding regarding any inconveniences that may have been caused by these necessary tasks to maintain water quality in the city.
