This Wednesday, the ceremony for the 192nd anniversary of the Argentine Naval Prefecture, Concordia delegation, was held. The ceremony was led by the Head of the Concordia Prefecture, Prefect Jorge Horacio Ribinski, the Mayor Dr. Francisco Azcué, and the Federal Judge Dr. Analía Ramponi
Addressing those present, Ribinski provided a historical overview of the naval institution, highlighting that “this is a moment of reflection, gratitude, commitment, and a pause in the daily routine to look back with respect and forward with firmness. 192 years represent almost two centuries of uninterrupted presence on the waters of our Uruguay River, of constant vigilance, permanent assistance, and silent dedication, because Concordia and its Prefecture were born together, united by the same fluvial destiny and by the will to protect life, order, and national sovereignty”.
Participants in the ceremony included the Secretary of Government Luciano Dell´Olio; the Federal Judge of Concordia Analía Ramponi; the Consul of Uruguay in Concordia Fiorella Scayola; the Head of the Salto Grande Dam Prefecture, Prefect Andrés Aguirre; members of the Malvinas War Veterans Center; representatives of the Armed Forces and Security Forces; family members, and the general public.
