At the end of last week, an open meeting was held with the residents of the 21 de Septiembre neighborhood, organized by the Citizen Participation area, under the Undersecretariat of Development and Entrepreneurship, within the framework of the Participatory Budget program.
The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of Development and Entrepreneurship, Gabriel Enguelberg; the Participatory Budget Coordinator, Sebastián Reinafe; and the technical team of the Directorate of Citizen Participation, who spoke with the residents about various issues in the neighborhood and possible solutions.
During the meeting, Enguelberg highlighted the importance of these gatherings: “From the municipality, we are convinced that the active participation of residents is key to building a better city. These types of spaces allow us to listen to their concerns and work together on concrete solutions that improve their quality of life.”
For his part, Reinafe valued the commitment of those present: “It is very important that residents get involved, because they are the ones who best know the needs of their neighborhood. Collaboration and direct dialogue allow us to advance in projects that truly respond to those demands.”
The residents present also expressed their satisfaction with the initiative, highlighting the municipality's willingness to reach out to the neighborhood and provide concrete solutions. One of them stated: “It is very positive that you come to listen to us, that you are interested in what we need. We hope that these types of meetings will be repeated so we can continue working together for the well-being of the neighborhood.”
