The Secretariat of Health and Sports of the Municipality of Concordia, through the Bromatology Directorate, in its role of preserving the health of the population, recommends taking into account the following advice to avoid possible foodborne illnesses due to high temperatures.
Exercise extreme care with foods considered high-risk, such as mayonnaise, sauces, creams, empanada fillings, sandwiches, etc., which must be kept in the refrigerator at 4° C from preparation until the moment of consumption.
Do not prepare homemade mayonnaise, due to the risk of contamination by pathogenic bacteria. The use of commercial mayonnaise is recommended.
Do not prepare meals too far in advance. Ensure that prepared foods do not remain at room temperature for more than one hour.
Reheat meals, ensuring they reach at least 70° C in their interior.
