Organized by the Ministry of Human Development of the Province, with the participation of the Secretariat of Human Development of the Municipality of Concordia, the third training session of the Comprehensive Care Program for People Experiencing Homelessness was held this Thursday.
The activities took place at the Convention Center, in three modules with the objective of strengthening intervention strategies and promoting joint action for the benefit of those who need it most.
The Director of Community and Territorial Policies of the Ministry of Human Development of Entre Ríos, Rosario Ledri, stated that “we from the Province are very happy with the way we are working with the Municipality of Concordia. It has very good professionals and the articulated work being carried out is very important to be able to reach more people and, with the available resources, truly reach those who need it.”
On the occasion, the Undersecretary of Social Development, Roberto Niez, highlighted the importance of the training aimed at municipal staff “who are in contact with people going through this situation. The networking that we are carrying out with the Province is bearing much fruit, so we need these types of actions that allow for improving the approaches that are carried out in this regard.”
For her part, National Deputy Nancy Ballejos, present at the event, stated that “it took many years for this to happen and today we are working on it very fluidly, with permanent dialogue and a mutual and reciprocal commitment. We believe that the only way to provide real solutions to concrete problems is with a lot of fieldwork, and that gives us the necessary tools to be able to project a medium or long-term work plan today.”
The legislator highlighted that this type of training “is important for Concordia and to be able to address these sensitive issues. The work entrusted by Governor Rogelio Frigerio is to work in the territory and be in contact with the people.”
