After an intense workday by EDOS personnel, during which various tasks were carried out to improve the provision of drinking water service throughout the city, which due to the heat wave and increased consumption, added to the power outages this Friday that caused issues at the Water Plant, it was confirmed that two new boreholes will be drilled to be added to the existing ones to supply different neighborhoods.
This was confirmed by the EDOS comptroller, Juan Grigolato, who communicated it to the residents. "The mayor Enrique Cresto ordered that two boreholes be drilled, one in the 80 Viviendas neighborhood that will benefit that neighborhood and the surrounding neighborhoods, because there was a problem with the well that was planned for that sector, and also a new borehole with a new elevated tank to overcome the contingency of water shortages in Los Pájaros, 8 de Diciembre, Agua Patito," among other nearby neighborhoods, explained Grigolato.
"With a great budgetary effort by the Municipality, which will finance these new works, it will be possible to alleviate the situation that the residents of those neighborhoods are currently going through," added the EDOS comptroller.
