The Municipality of Concordia, through the Undersecretariat of Education and Culture, informs that registration is now open to join the Municipal Children's and Youth Choir and the Municipal Chamber Choir, two free spaces that invite children, adolescents, and adults to live a collective experience through music and singing.
The Children's and Youth Choir is intended for children between 10 and 17 years old inclusive, with rehearsals on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Meanwhile, the Municipal Chamber Choir invites people between 18 and 50 years old, with rehearsals on the same days, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Both activities take place in the hall of the Undersecretariat of Education and Culture, located at 638 Urquiza St.
“These spaces not only promote musical training and artistic expression, but also the building of bonds, teamwork, and the strengthening of our cultural identity,” stated the Undersecretary of Education and Culture, Prof. Carlos Gatto, who also stressed that “the call is open; no previous experience is needed, just the desire to participate and be transformed by the power of music.”
Registration can be done from Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the headquarters of the Undersecretariat (638 Urquiza St.) or by contacting 345 5 200 559 or 11 649 11470.
Under the administration led by Mayor Dr. Francisco Azcué, a public policy is promoted that conceives education and culture as tools for social transformation, equal access, and human development. In this framework, the municipal choirs are consolidated as inclusive, free, and high-quality proposals, in the heart of a city that grows and projects itself.
