Following a meeting held between the Carnival Board directors and the representatives of the carnival groups, after analyzing the changing weather conditions, and at the request of the groups, it was decided to suspend the rescheduled parade that was to take place this Sunday, February 12.
The request was based on the unstable weather, which did not guarantee the development of a good show as a whole, and the protection of costumes and floats, while also pursuing the objective of safeguarding artists and the general public in attendance.
During the week, the new date for this parade will be announced. We appreciate your understanding regarding these unforeseen events.
