Concordia, in the heart of the littoral region, prepares to welcome tourists from all over the country with a cultural proposal that combines art, faith, history, and nature. The city in Entre Ríos, known for its warmth and hospitality, offers a unique Holy Week, ideal for those seeking to connect with our cultural roots and share meaningful moments with family.
The epicenter of the activities will be the traditional Feria de las Golondrinas, which this year celebrates its 32nd edition at Plaza 25 de Mayo and the Paso del Bicentenario. For four days, local artisans and those from different parts of the country, entrepreneurs, musicians, and local and regional cultural creators will fill this emblematic promenade with life, with proposals that fuse the best of popular art, gastronomy, and ancestral knowledge.
Spirituality and art intertwine on Good Friday, with an emotional Sacred Music Concert at the majestic Iglesia de los Capuchinos. The presentation will bring together prominent local and university choirs in a sound experience that invites reflection and contemplation.
Saturday night invites you to enjoy a deeply moving performance: the artistic representation of the Passion and Death of Jesus Christ, by the “Sembrando Futuro” Ballet. This choreographic intervention is inspired by fragments of the famous Misa Criolla, a liturgical work by maestro Ariel Ramírez, and has become a powerful expression of faith and popular art.
Municipal museums will also open their doors with special programming. The Visual Arts Museum (MAV) will offer a unique exhibition to celebrate its six decades of institutional life: “60 years, sixty works – Treasures of the MAV”, an exhibition that brings together works by artists who have left their mark on the museum's heritage, such as Ricardo Ajler, Gabriel Álvarez, Eleonora Burry, Héctor Raúl Ramos, Laura Mulhall Girondo, Graciela Genovés, Federico Freixas, Lisandro Pierotti, Martín Escubet, Enrique Abeledo, and Santiago Raffo, among many others. Each of these sixty works represents a key moment in the museum's history. Pieces from the museum's first collection and works awarded throughout the fifteen years of the Salón del Bicentenario can be appreciated.
The interactive Costa Ciencia Museum will also be open, ideal for visiting as a family and living great scientific and technological experiences, as well as the Museum of Anthropology and Natural Sciences, which will offer special activities such as the children's workshop “Bioartistas” and the participatory tour “Biodetectives Urbanos”, to discover the city's biodiversity from a playful and educational perspective.
The agenda is vast, but the spirit is one: to celebrate culture as a bridge that unites generations, identities, and territories. Concordia consolidates itself as a cultural destination on the Argentine tourist map, thanks to an administration that understands that development is also built from memory, art, and gathering.
