In the context of the long weekend and given the large influx of tourists, the Queen of the Concordia Carnival, Agustina Barrio, and other artists from the Concordia festival, performed at the Concordia thermal baths with a show that caught everyone's attention. "We were enchanted, when is the Carnival?", asked a couple from Montevideo who promised to return to the city in the summer to experience the most passionate festival in Entre Ríos.
A few months before the "Atanasio Bonfiglio" Corsódromo vibrates again to the rhythm of the drum sections, and while organizational aspects of the festival that the Carnival Entity is undertaking in coordination with the different comparsas advance, as defined by Mayor Enrique Cresto, the promotion of the event is already underway. It will be carried out periodically, both within the city, seeking that tourists visiting us in these months get to know our Carnival so they decide to return in January and February, and also in other cities, making this destination known.
In joint work with the Municipal Tourism Secretariat and Emcontur, and under the slogan "Share Share. Thermal Spa", the Carnival Entity, presided over by Sebastián Cuberli, defined presentations in tourist spots in Concordia. Thus, this Saturday the Queen of the Concordia Carnival, Agustina Barrio, together with dancers from different comparsas and accompanied by Batería Nota 10, "emptied" the pools of the thermal complex.
For 45 minutes, visitors left the thermal waters and approached the appealing rhythm of the drum section and the sensuality and passion with which Agustina Barrio and other Carnival dancers captivated everyone. "I am from Montevideo, it is the first time I come to Concordia", commented José, a tourist who, together with his wife, wanted to know more after the show. "I have an ear for music, they are very good musicians", he said and added "when is the Carnival here?, we are going to come". A decision that had the emphatic support of his wife, "of course, we were enchanted".
In this way, Concordia begins to feel the pulse of the greatest summer festival, while promotions and dissemination in different places advance. 5 months before the parades begin, the Carnival Entity continues to finalize details together with the comparsas, and aspects related to the commercialization of the event are being finalized, so there are no people designated or in charge of this aspect, which will be duly announced, complying with the regulations that govern it.
