Following the storm that affected Concordia last night, the Municipality of Concordia, through various departments, is intervening in different sectors of the city. The 105 line is the emergency and assistance number enabled to receive requests.
By order of the mayor Francisco Azcué and once weather conditions allowed, an operation was deployed to respond to the various demands that were arising.
The city suffered roof blow-offs, fallen trees, masonry, utility poles, and various private services. The Secretariat of Public Services began work during the night and early morning to clear public roads with personnel and equipment from Urban Hygiene and Electrotechnics.
For its part, until the early hours of this morning, the Undersecretariat of Social Development, belonging to the Secretariat of Human Development, received 60 requests for assistance and is currently touring the affected sectors. The number enabled for this type of request is 3454 13-2744 (Comprehensive and Immediate Social Assistance).
It is requested to drive with caution and respect the instructions of the personnel who are working.
