The Municipality of Concordia, through the Directorate of Electrotechnics and Communications, began work this week on putting the lighting into operation on Avenida Presidente Illia, between Yuquerí boulevard and Fátima street.
This action, which is being carried out with our own personnel and resources, has been marred as several lighting poles, once the repairs and installation of luminaires were completed, were found in the morning with cables cut or removed.
Specifically, the removal of approximately 25 meters of underground wiring was detected.
These acts of vandalism and theft, which were reported to the competent authorities, directly harm the entire community of Concordia as it forces a new investment to be made.
