Starting this Saturday, the Transit Center will once again carry out training sessions to obtain a driver's license in an itinerant manner in the neighborhoods furthest from the city, with the aim of decentralizing the Municipality's operations and facilitating procedures for residents.
“This is a municipal program through which residents are facilitated in being able to take the course to obtain a driver's license,” commented the director of the Transit Center, Walter Baez, regarding the matter. “Mayor Alfredo Francolini and Chief of Cabinet Fernando Barboza ordered that this program be resumed, and we will begin this Saturday in Osvaldo Magnasco, to then continue in other neighborhoods of the city,” he indicated.
For his part, Martín Gómez, a neighborhood representative from Osvaldo Magnasco, commented that “this program was carried out before the pandemic; now that the situation has improved, we discussed it with Walter Baez and the Mayor, and they made the decision that our neighborhood would be the place where it is resumed.” Gómez expressed that “it is very important that these procedures of the Municipality are decentralized; it makes it much easier for residents, it is a very good initiative,” he valued.
Thus, this Saturday, September 25, from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at primary school No. 41 in Osvaldo Magnasco, all residents of the area who wish to take the driver's license course will be able to come and complete it.
